I received a case of mre’s in a sealed box and banded. the box was labeled “sure-pack” by sopakcoinc. no date on box,SO THE RED FLAGS STARTED FLYING.so, I open the case and found the mre pouches were clear and there were no heaters either.needless to say I was not surprised..so you guys that got the real…

NOT GENUINE – sold by Industry Supplier, not real MRE’s I ordered “MREs (Meals Ready-to-Eat) Box B, Genuine U.S. Military Surplus, Menus 13-24”, which is a pretty specific description. The product I just received from seller “Industry Supplier” was definitely a case of 12 shelf-stable meals, but this is where the similarity ends:Received a case of APack Ready-Meals, which includes 2 each of 6 different meals (total 12) – a far cry from the 12 different menu items in a real case of MREs. (Misc.) I just recieved and salpemd my first mre. It was the beef patty with cornbread stuffing. It also included an oatmeal cookie. a piece of bread, grape jelly, instant coffee, juice powder, sugar, coffe creamer powder, salt, pepper, napkin, spoon, wet wipe, and a heater. preperation was pretty simple. just tear open the heater bag and insert the food pouch. then add a bit of water to the line and it will start cooking. the beef patty was actually not bad. Reminded me of soft beef jerky. The cornbread stuffing was more of a paste but i wouldnt turn it away if i was hungry. Remember to add a bit more water between warming food pouches. The oatmeal cookie was actually really good and the bread was kind of like a soft cracker. Very dense. overall it was not the best meal i have ever had but it was not bad at all. I will be ordering a case of these for my emergency supply. its not gourmet by any means but the food has a lot of flavor and was decently filling.
